Diana & Victor
Thank you so much for
welcoming us to your lovely home and providing us with a
warm and relaxing atmosphere in which to spend a much
needed getaway. We really enjoyed the beautiful
surroundings here...this has probably been our most
peaceful vacation so far.
Talking with the two of you
was great, and thanks, Diana for your advice on things
to do in the area. Visiting "Bear was definitely the
highlight - what a fascinating man!
Thanks Diana on your
understanding, advice, and willingness to provide
creative, wholesome meals for "special diets". This can
be rare and know that it is much appreciated!
Hopefully we'll come back
some day, and maybe bring our kids...they'll love it.
Take Care,
Pam and Ben (Niagara)

Hi Diana,
We had a great visit with Bear: lots of music, songs,
stories, friendly dogs and a horse, a walk in the woods and
a swim at a lovely lake, then lunch. Thanks so much for
arranging the visit with us. He’s a brilliant man. It’s good
to meet someone who follows his own star and lives life
fully.
We had a wonderful visit with you and Victor – a perfect way
to celebrate our anniversary.
Thanks for your warm
hospitality.
Best wishes - Janet

Dear Diana & Victor (Emma
and Potter)
What can we say? “Thank you “seems so small, too tiny to
express the enjoyment & pleasure & appreciation we feel
for our time with you. Thank you for allowing us to
share not only your house and home & absolutely
wonderful food, but also for allowing us to share your
amazing friend Joe and your company, your life
experiences & your lives, even if only for so short a
period of time.
Our stay with you was like being at home - our personal
circle has grown and been enriched with the addition of
you and Victor and Emma and Potter.
Much love
George and Regina Harvey and Deb (Branford Ontario)
PS. The dancing was great-both at Blockhouse Island, and
in your kitchen!

"I would double the amen and
raise you one. Thanks so much to my family for the great
birthday dinner, delicious cake (both compliments of
Chef Diana) and the pottery gifts of my choice!
Diana you were a gracious host, along with your husband
Victor. Thanks for the meals, the driving, thanks to
Potter for the walks, the bike ride led by Victor -
thanks for everything. We will definited have to do this
again.
Trip home uneventful. Weather in Halifax is horribly
muggy, the kitter litter wasn't changed, the house
reeked and neither men habitating the place even
noticed. Now ain't that grand!"

"Thank you Diana and Victor
for a hosting us and organizing a wonderful time. Your
home is so inviting, and what wonderful meals you
prepare. Still hoping for a recipe for that great pasta
salad. We will have to work on getting together more
often. (is this because we are getting
older and see time running out?) Whatever, we enjoyed
ourselves immensely."

Victor & Diana,
Diana your assistance getting us in touch with the hot
air balloon ride, the cruise tour of 1000 Islands, and
the all day kayaking around the 1000 Islands was
indispensably helpful- your help was amazing-
Thank You!!
The views around and from your house are breathtaking.
The art pieces and decorating are phenomenal. Your
website is the best!
You both were a perfect host and hostess giving
yourselves to us openly. Your transparency in
conversation is outstanding
.
The entire weekend (extended) was amazing. Thank you
both very much!
Best wishes to you both.

Dear Diana & Victor
What a great opportunity for a quick getaway in the
beautiful area of 1000 Islands in a nice, loving and
welcoming home.
It has been a great pleasure
to stay here and to be a part of your lives for a short
two days. You have created a beautiful oasis here, and
opened it to all of us. What a great honor to be part of
that.
I came here with my dear uncle and aunt for a relaxing
weekend and we received that and more. The Reiki
sessions with your friend Lise were so divine for our
spirits. The comfortable beds provided us with great
sleep to nourish our souls. The ambiance is so soothing…
Thank you for opening your
hearts and your welcoming home.
I hope we meet sometime soon, next time with my parents.
With love and peace from

Dear Diana and Victor,
Potter and Emma.
We somehow knew we were going to love it all, and we
did…even more so!
Thanks so much for your gifts of warmth and welcome, of
generosity and creativity. The beauty and tranquility
were real gifts for me.
Kayaking was memorable,
thanks for suggesting it. I wouldn’t have missed it .
The studio tour was also fascinating insight into this
area.
I can’t believe we were here
just 3 days. Thanks so much, and hopefully we will see
you again, and next timeI may be a little more healthy.
Much love,

Thanks so much for a wonderful interlude- the breakfast
birthday cake was very thoughtful!
So glad you mentioned the 1000Is Kayaking- the day long
tour was well worth the money.
We are taking away some lovely memories.

Thank You! So Much!
Diana and Victor—
For sharing your beautiful home, gardens, and adorable
“children” Emma and Potter, and making me feel so
welcome and at home; the first cup of coffee in the
morning on the veranda with the birds; the delicious
breakfasts; the personally guided tour of Brockville;
coupons for the Island cruise; the ‘trip to India’;
browsing through the pottery studio; and that
spectacular view over the river! Just to name a few of
the highlighlights.
The time at Island View was
all too short; but I hope to enjoy your wonderful
hospitality again at some future date.
You folks are indeed the
host and hostess with the mostest! As the song says:
“Thanks For The Memories”

Dear Diana
Dear Victor
We were so lucky to meet you!
Almost everything in life is “a question of timing”… and
so was our meeting. We stayed only few days with you and
I already feel a close relative to both of you, Potter
and Emma.
These were relaxing, interesting, sad, happy-days with
lots of emotions.
Diana! You are a unique
person, strong and tender, perfectionist but giving lots
of space and much more of these….And you, Victor, you
give such a close and warm feeling-like a good big
brother.
I can continue on…Talking about the wonderful, colourful
breakfast, walk in the park…but it is time to leave. I
already miss you
bye bye (Shalom Shalom)
Thanks a lot (Ta Da Raba)
meet you in (Lehitraut)

Following a recommendation
from our friends in our small rural Oxfordshire village
when we were planning our trip across Canada we just had
to come and stay with you. We have loved our stay with
you just as much as they did. Thank you for sharing your
beautiful home with us, and recommending our cruise trip
with Dave. On a crystal day we had a magical boat trip
around the islands landing at Boldt Castle. Although the
castle’s story is a sad one we were so glad we took time
to enjoy the grandeur of earlier times.
Thank you both for your hospitality and generosity.
We shall always treasure our stay with you and, just as
friends did, will recommend our friends in England to
come and stay with you too.
Sincere thanks

As usual, we’ve been
drenched down to our toes in peace and tranquility by
the lovely surroundings and wonderful conversation.
The peaceful surroundings
and energy as well as your patience with an active
toddler was much appreciated! Emma and Potter were great
playmates for the under two crowd, and Andre and I loved
the big soaker tub!
We’ll be back with an older
Madelaine shortly- perhaps in the summer to play in the
woods.
